Curb appeal is your first chance to create a great first impression on buyers before they enter your house. The positive and negative features that jump out at buyers form their first perception of your house and how you keep up your house's regular maintenance. Acknowledging this helps us to decide what actions we can take to attract buyers from the street and into your home. If your house isn't attractive on the outside with touched up paint and blooming garden plants it's time to get those things done. Follow the Curb Appeal Checklist and boost your home's final selling price.

"Welcome to your new home!"
Can buyers see themselves hanging out in your living space, reading a good book in your spa tub or studying in your home office? We want your house to welcome buyers and give them a sense of comfort. We'll help you achieve this by recommending small improvements that highlight your house's features. We'll tell you put in storage anything that gives the appearance of clutter. Surface areas like tables, desks and counters should be cleared off. Brick-a-brack, sentimental items, family photos, and refrigerator artwork should get moved out of sight. We can help you de-clutter your house. Ugly or dirty spaces make your home look less spacious and buyers have a more difficult time seeing themselves living there.
We'll look over every room of your home. We'll note the pieces of furniture that should be rearranged, rooms that need a fresh coat of paint, carpet needing to be changed, fixtures that could use brightening, and any other improvement that can quickly be made to positively influence the sale.
Working together, we'll make sure your house has mass appeal and that it's comfortable, steering clear of "loud" or "personalized" colors on the walls and furniture. And if you've already moved out, you can try borrowing furniture. The goal is for your home to look ready to live in as opposed to abandoned.

Setting the Stage
We'll tell you when to open your home up to buyers, because everything comes together to set the stage for what buyers can expect after they choose to buy your house. To eliminate shadows critical and we'll part the curtains, and create light where needed to invite the buyer inside. Together we'll enhance the mood of the house with enjoyable music to listen to while guests look at your home and ensure a pleasant aroma circulates room-to-room. We'll add cozy-looking blankets, and pillows on your chairs and bedding. Buyers should feel like your house is their future home.
